Once a year, I fire up the ol’ publicity machine for a week to ask you (repeatedly) to donate to the nonprofit law firm and advocacy organization I work for, the Kentucky Equal Justice Center.

(If you want to get strategic about donating to maximize your donation, here’s a link to the matching challenges each day. Some challenges require you to donate as closely to 9 a.m. as possible (Wednesday and Friday) while Thursday is the day to try to get the most donors period dot (the org with the most $25+ donors Thursday gets a $15,000 endowment gift).

After you've donated, I'm going to ask you to brag about it on social media. Tell your friends how awesome KEJC is and how awesome you are for supporting it. It ain't bragging if it's true.

What a weird, awful, scary, weird moment. During this pandemic and economic crisis and struggle for racial justice, I have been grateful to have (plenty of) good work to do at KEJC, a place that really produces a lot of very good, essential work. I'll tell you more about that as the week progresses.
